Dear Dr. Warshowsky,
As I watch my daughter "H" happily walk onto the school bus each day, it has been on my mind often to tell you how much you changed her life and ours.
Before I brought "H" to your office several years ago for an examination, she was a frightened little girl. She was clumsy, afraid to move around (even in her own familiar home), and fearful of many things and strangers as well. I have never experienced this before with any of our other children. She was receiving therapy from an early intervention agency and was certainly making strides, but was still withdrawn. Both my husband and myself were still concerned.
When you diagnosed her and gave her a prescription for glasses you changed her life and ours! Now we had our daughter! She soon was running around the house and up and down stairs. She became involved in the activities of the house and enjoyed playing outdoors. You cannot imagine the pleasure we all had in watching her on the swings and in the playground. A pair of glasses made the world a safe place for our daughter.
I want to really thank you for helping my daughter and my family. May G-d Almighty bestow on you and your dear family only good health, happiness and success in all your endeavors.
Very sincerely yours,
(signed by the child's mother)

Dear Dr. W,
Your Vision Therapy has helped me become more focused, and more able to do depth perception tasks without fear. It has helped me with my social skills. It has helped me to be able not to lose my spot as much when I am reading.
Thank you,

Dear Dr.Warshowsky,
What does it mean to have you as our doctor? If only we knew where to start... It means having a doctor to share with, whether it's thoughts, feelings, the big things that worry us, or just the little everyday concerns that don't seem important until you make them important by the way you listen and care.
It means having a doctor who cares enough about us to really listen. Yet, who is devoted enough to give us advice and to honestly tell us the things we need to hear.
It means having a doctor with a strong beautiful spirit that is capable of taking it as far and as high as you need to go.
Dr. Warshowsky, we've seen your strengths and appreciate your wisdom and courage!
Be blessed,

Many years ago, when I was 35 years old, another eye doctor recommended that I see Dr. Warshowsky. That visit changed my life, in ways I never imagined.
I went into an office filled with little kids, all working and playing with all sorts strange looking objects. I wondered just what I had gotten into! But I soon found a remarkable and caring doctor who seemed to understand all the problems I had suffered through all my life. He said he could help me. He could HELP me. I didn't even know there was help.
Let me explain. I had problems that I didn't even know were there, because I had never known life without them. I had always had a low level constant head ache. My vision was always slightly burry. I got lost reading paragraphs. I had difficulty remembering things I had read. If I had a teacher who was a good lector, I had a chance, mind you. However, if studies depended on reading, it was a tough and often losing battle. I always read words and numbers inside out. Always wrote my homework assignments wrong. I was usually lost. Everyone, parents and teachers blamed me for being careless and lazy. Math was a horror because, I read the numbers wrong and so my sums were often wrong, not from poor knowledge, I understood it, and I knew my table. I just couldn't read it. Homework would stretch for endless, frustrating hours every night.
My self esteem was in the gutter.
Now, I am two things. I am very smart. I am also very stubborn. Tell me I can't do something, and I will kill myself to prove you wrong. It was because of these two qualities, that I finished not only high school, but a three year nursing school at 20 years old and was given my RN. I even passed the State Boards with extremely high marks.
Then I was given that wonderful life changing referral to Dr. Warshowsky. He explained how my eyes were never able to "team" and my focus was way off the intended mark. He did all the tests and formulated a plan for me of eye training and teaching. It took me a full year of in office therapy and eye exercises at home for this. He tested me for lenses. When he placed those corrective lenses in front of my eyes, at the age of 35, I saw clearly for the first time. Objects had clear and defined lines. I actually laughed out loud with joy! On the way home, I cried, because of all the years of difficulty, frustration and physical and emotional pain.
As that year went on, I started watching my two sons closely. I realized that the elder one was having similar problems to mine. So we also took him to Dr. Warshowsky. He was also given testing, eye therapy and lenses. I am extremely happy to say it changed his life. He graduated college. He is now an avid reader, usually having three books going at once! His self esteem is excellent! I am so proud of him!
Now, I am almost 60. When I go for my eye exam, I look around at all the little kids in the office. I fill up with tears of joy for them. What they are doing will give them a lifetime free of the pains and frustrations that I went through. The world will be open to them.
The sky will be their limit! Thank you, Dr. Joel!

Dear Dr. Warshowsky,
No words can express our admiration and gratitude to you. It's been a pleasure to see our son transform, improving day by day. From his reading skills and school work, to his self satisfaction and more.
You have given him back "quality of life" where he is doing as well and maybe better than some in his grade.
May you continue your success for many years to come!
Forever grateful,

Dear Dr. Warshowsky,
We feel that after completing your program of visual therapy, our son now has embarked upon a journey he had neither the ability nor motivation for until now. That is a journey starting now and with G-d's help continuing for a lifetime - a lifetime of learning, reading, discovery, growing; developing a rich potential; discovering who he is and what he can accomplish,
We are overwhelmed with gratitude. Our son and we so appreciate your sincere interest, sensitivity and encouragement. May G-d give you much strength to continue helping our children in this significant way for many, many more years.
Sincerely,

To the esteemed Dr. Warshowsky,
I would like to express my deep admiration to your expertise in helping Yitzckock. He achieved beyond our expectations and imaginations. In the beginning of the school year he was struggling with his reading with tutorial help. To date he reads beautifully and fluently (although he does occasionally make minor mistakes). We feel that you have technically saved this child! Thank you and may you merit in helping save more children.
Sincerely Yours,

Dr. Warshowsky,
When Micky first came to vision therapy he was having difficulty in school. His reading, which is below average to begin with, was deteriorating even more, he had trouble keeping his place and was discouraged. Also reversal, and adding or taking away letters when sounding out words. Generally speaking, he was "loosing it!!"
As vision therapy progressed I could see he was "getting it back". He wasn't having as much difficultly handling his school work. He wants to try harder and his general feeling about himself has improved.
I truly believe that the vision therapy helps Micky keep things on track for him and we are working to keep it that way. I don't know what life would have been like for Micky or our family if we had not found out about you. Thank you for being your wonderful self and for the support you have given us and for providing a service that is so needed and so little understood.
Thank you so much,
New Jersey

Dear Dr. Warshowsky,
We wanted to thank you for your professionalism, expertise and your precise diagnosis, and just as importantly for your genuine care and concern for our daughter.
We don't believe in coincidence rather, we believe that G-d is sovereign and is in control of everything.
He lead us to Dr. Peary (in Texas) and had her lead us to you (around the block!)
May G-d bless you, as you have blessed us.
Fondly,

Dear Dr. Warshowsky,
It is with gratitude to Hashem and with hearts full of emotions that we write this letter to you.
To make a long story short we fast forward to the day we arrived at your office with trepidation, excitement and uneasiness we entered your office a bit different than we entered many other offices in the past. There was just something in my motherly instinct that told me we were in the right place - the right hands.
After many years of trying and working and hitting a dead wall, being told things we never ever, not us nor Jacob allowed ourselves to believe, we were finally granted the gift from the one above - you Dr. Warshowsky. You boosted our spirits, you answered our questions, and last but not least made "our problem" into the simplest issue. You corrected in our minds the misconception we were carrying with us all these years. "Yanky does not have a problem he just has a vision issue"!
It is a shame Dr. that you only get to see Jacob at his visits - we see him all the time - His smiles are bright and almost constant, his mood is great he is so happy and thankful. And now that we are nearing the end of our weekly visits we have no words to express our thanks for your consideration, support, kindness, understanding, honesty and devotion. So please accept our humble thank you and our best wishes.
"May you be blessed to be able to help many more children to become the people they deserve to become."
And last but not least we take this opportunity to applaud your wonderful staff. Their graciousness, kindness, understanding and sensitivity is one we have never met. Once again, thank you for "seeing" us through!
With lots of appreciation and respect,
Mr. & Mrs. B (and Jacob)

Dear Dr. Warshowsky,
Sitting all the way high on the doctors chair
Our happy Purim spirits we would like to share
As the doctor works our eyes should light
And we shall see everything the way is right
Bringing to our sight the beautiful warm sun rays
We wish that Hashem should bless Doctor in all ways.
